This week, Modest Mouse released a new song a day early exclusively on Reddit. The track, “The Ground Walks, With Time In A Box” comes as a teaser for their first album in eight years, Strangers to Ourselves. The album is due out on March 17th on Epic Records and to celebrate the release, lead singer and guitarist Isaac Brock answered questions from fans on Reddit’s Music section. The post reached the #2 spot on the Reddit homepage and there are over 1200 comments at time of writing.

The song comes as a welcomed release from Modest Mouse, who have chosen to remain out of the spotlight for eight years until now. Listen to “The Ground Walks, With Time In A Box” below.
