’80s rocker Peter Frampton opened for the Steve Miller Band at Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday June 27. Dressed in a black “Freedom” T-shirt and bluejeans, he delighted the crowd, many who appeared to be around the same age, mimicking their guitar hero as they played their air guitars.
After a short set change, the music continued when Steve Miller took to the stage, with a beautiful backdrop and lights that had the crowd once again standing, swaying, and playing air guitar. With such hits as “Abracadabra” “Take the Money and Run” and “Space Cowboy, ” the double bill could have been called “Greatest Hits of the ’80s”
