Light of Day WinterFest 2019

With a goal of reaching the $5.5 million mark in its ongoing battle against Parkinson’s disease, Light of Day WinterFest 2019 will bring over 150 music acts to 30 venues over 10 days in two New Jersey cities, New York City, Philadelphia, and Rockland County, NY, in January, following a holiday season European tour that kicks off today.

The Ventures, Steve Forbert, Albert Lee and Band, Popa Chubby, Willie Nile and Band, Jesse Malin, James Maddock and Band, Jeffrey Gaines, Marc Ribler’s Red, White & Brit Tribute to The Who featuring members of Little Steven’s Disciples of Soul, Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers, The Weeklings, John Eddie, Remember Jones, Williams Honor, Bruce Tunkel, Joe D’Urso and Stone Caravan, Christine Martucci, Nalani & Sarina, Taylor Tote, Pat Guadagno, and the Billy Walton Band are among the first wave of acts to be announced. More acts will be announced as the festival approaches.

In addition to surprise performances by Bruce Springsteen in 11 of its 18 years, previous Light of Day WinterFest performers have included Michael J. Fox, John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Darlene Love, Ed Kowalczyk (Live), Jakob Dylan, Suzanne Vega, Max Weinberg (E Street Band), Jake Clemons (E Street Band), Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez (E Street Band), Lucinda Williams, Mike Peters (The Alarm, Big Country), David Bryan of Bon Jovi, The Verve Pipe, Greg Kihn, David Bromberg, Alejandro Escovedo, Pete Yorn, The Smithereens, Peter Asher, Chuck Prophet, Joey Molland (Badfinger), Peter Himmelman, Gary U.S. Bonds, Southside Johnny, Dramarama, Garland Jeffreys, LaBamba’s Big Band, and actor/musician Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos).

In 2018, Light of Day WinterFest raised over a half million dollars for the fourth straight year. Ticket packages include On Stage “All Access” package at  $375 to Super Savers at $33, and many options in between.
